DaveH

DaveH lives in a house which seems to be everywhere and nowhere at the same time. It usually appears as a small pylon blending in with its surroundings and has a door facing you. If you happen to be at the forum in the middle of town, taking in the grand panoply of people and discussion and music and dancing and crafts and everything else going on there, and you go looking for it, it'll be just around the corner. But the next time you pass by there on your way somewhere else, you probably won't see it. If you happen to be out by the Monkeyhouse, on your way back from a jam session, you might find it there. Or if you're walking though the grove that holds the Observatory, you might see it hiding behind one of the great oaks. Occasionally, if you're watching the sunset from the cliffs outside of town, you might see it nestled in among the great boulders. In fact, you might say to your companions, "Let's go visit DaveH," and find that the house is standing right behind you. From inside the house, it seems possible to get to almost anywhere in Leriland just by walking through one of the many portals. The interior is far larger than the small pylon outside would seem to indicate, although the exact number and configuration of the rooms seems difficult to determine exactly. There is definitely a great hall, where DaveH hosts the parties he's so famous for. There's an open atrium in the middle of a peristyle court which is open to the sky and in which grows a wild profusion of flowering plants and shrubs and trees. There seem to be many cozy little nooks and crannies with comfortable cushions on the floor and magnificent views of the ocean or the grove or the mountains which are just perfect for that intimate conversation with a special someone or for the free wheeling discusion of life the universe and everything with all who care to join in. Then of course there's the famous library which always has exactly the book you were looking for and many comfortable chairs to read it in. The kitchen is always well stocked and is staffed with magical daemons ready to prepare any delicacy you desire.

DaveH has been around Leriland for a long time and has contributed much to its fundamental nature. Although relatively quiet most of the time, he usually has an opinion on just about everything, which he will happily tell you about if you should ask. He loves to play music and has an incredible keyboard setup somewhere in his house, out of which he can produce the most exquisite sounds.

When not at home, DaveH himself is frequently found in the town forum, listening in on the debates and discussions or dancing to the music or perhaps joining in with the drummers. Or he may be up on the Observatory hill or down by the sea, communing with the elements. At other times, he is hard at work making sure that the portals and gateways that connect Leriland to the other communities and lands of Cyberspace are functioning properly. He is in constant communication with the dataflows and information paths of Cyberspace and is skilled enough with the powers and ways of the Matrix to be able to manifest into reality just about anything he can think of...
