The Bridge to FutureCulture

Somewhere off in the distance, once in a while, when the sunset colors the sky in a particular psychadelic way, a mystical bridge appears just on the outskirts of leriville. Standing on the leri side of the bridge you can peer through the mist, into the future, and there you might see the inhabitants of another land - FutureCulture.

Often times, the inhabitants of that strange land will journey across the bridge into the friendly land of Leri. There they have build a NEXUS to stay at during their visits. Oddly situated on the side of a cliff, the NEXUS-Leri peers out over the Leri Valley, offering a spectacular view of LeriLand itself, like an Indian Cliff Dwelling in New Mexico, or a chateau that has somehow sunk halfway into the mountain. If you approach the NEXUS and peer through a window you can see that the residents live in easy comfort... then suddenly the whole scene morphs and instead you see millions, perhaps billions, of small, in fact hardly visible, machines re-constructing the NEXUS to suit the desires of whatever occupant is scheduled to arrive next. Oh the wonders of Nanotech.

Maybe someday you will set up a residence in the land of FutureCulture. You know you are invited.
