BABEL(#40065Poc) Towering above you(geddit?), a very tall, very pale being dressed in a long coat of the whitest spider fur and a pair of golden slippers with curly bits o n the end. Has wings, which look a little small for him. Eyes violet. Also has large teeth. Possibly dangerous but probably not at the moment.

Tower of BABEL(#12790Levo)
A tall spiralling structure carved out of the living rock of the surrounding hills. It looks half finished. It has patches of grass sprouting out of it and some eagles have built a nest close to the pinnacle.
A rough-hewn archway, crowded with hideous gargoyles, leads into BABEL's Tower. It's dark inside.
BABEL turns and heads in the direction of the Tower of BABEL.

You are inside a cool damp grotto. A huge cavern, its high cathedral ceiling i s hung with stalactites. The upper chamber is criss-crossed with shafts of coloured light that stream in through a honeycomb of stained glass portals.

They crowd the horizon, seeming at once divinely vast, or again of a size to be scooped up in handfuls.Below is a wide sweep of forest - a storm of vegetation, boughs crossed and twisted and in their lichened paleness like lightning.
