a stormy sea of spark and flame

        careening wildly

        and out
caroming off the leaping tongues of fire

crystal stars are raining down around you
        sound drowning in thunder
                                        the meaning is the magic

you succumb to the sweet intoxication
                                        of vertigo

        there is nothing but this

you are whirling in the belly of a laughing god
faster and faster

                your lily-mouth 
                                unfolds in the darkness
wet and hungry 
at the heart
red, swollen, flaring, meaty 
                        and throbbing with blood
